| WHY SHOULD I JOIN? | Many reasons - here are a few :- |
| 1). We have the experience - we started in 1978 and are the 2nd longest running Womens club in Sussex. | |
| 2). We plan to be running a Development team in the SCW&GFL. next season | |
| 2). We are a England Football Accredited Club with qualified coaches. | |
| 3). We were the "County Award Winner 2008 ,2009 and 2010" for FA Charter Standard Adult Clubs | |
| 4). We aim to give our players as much competitive football as possible , In addition to the League program , we are the ONLY Midsussex Club entering the FA Womens Cup.the Sussex County Cup and the Bostic League Cup. | |
| 5). Our players enjoy both their football and a good social activity. | |
| 6). We aim to develop every players ability to the full and FOR YOU TO ENJOY YOUR FOOTBALL. | |
| 7). You will find a very warm and friendly welcome. | |
| 8). Our players come from all over Sussex and beyond. | |
| 9). We welcome experienced and "new to the sport" players. |
| WHEN DO YOU PLAY ? | Sunday afternoons, normally 2pm K/o. |
| WHAT LEAGUE DO YOU PLAY IN ? | 1st Team - Div 1[W] of the South East Counties Women's Football League (SECWFL). |
| WHERE DO YOU PLAY ? | Burgess Hill Town F C , Leylands Park RH15 8DL |
| IS KIT PROVIDED ? | Yes, Shirts, Shorts & Socks are provided, you supply boots and shin pads. |
| IS ANY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY ? | NO - but a willingness to learn is ESSENTIAL. |
| In general we require new members to attend training reqularly (Work commitments permitting) | |
| YOU DO NEED TO BE (OR GET) FIT. |
| IS TRAINING GIVEN ? | We train every Wed 7.15pm till 9pm throughout at The Burgess Hill Academy , Station Rd, Burgess Hill, RH15 9EA on their 3G Astro pitch, | |
| WHAT ARE THE AGE LIMITS ? | League regulations state that you must be 16 to be able to play, no upper age limit. We welcome those who will be 16 during the season. |
| We have players from 16 up to mid 30's and beyond. |
| WHERE DO PLAYERS COME FROM ? | Mid Sussex, but also from Brighton/Hove area, , Crawley, Horley, and East Grinstead for example. |
| WHAT IF I WORK SOME SUNDAYS ? | No problem, we have ‘Occasional Membership' and can discuss your situation. |
| WHAT ARE THE SEASONS SUBS ? | Only £100 per season. Subs include all training costs. |
| New members have ‘Free membership' until they have played three matches & decided they would like to join. | |
| If you join ‘Mid Season' the subs are worked out ‘pro-rata'. | |
| ‘Occasional Membership' we work out on a pro rata basis. |
| WHAT ARE THE MATCH FEES ? | NON. |
| DO YOU WELCOME 'NOVICES' ? | Yes, very much so, we all start at the beginning. |
| DO YOU WELCOME EXPERIENCED PLAYERS ? | Definitely, we would be very pleased to welcome you. |

| WHAT DO WE REQUIRE FROM OUR MEMBERS ?COMMITMENT:-TO ATTENDING TRAINING REGULARLY TO PLAYING ON SUNDAYS Football is a TEAM GAME, All players have a responsibility to their team-mates. The best player in the world is no good if they don't turn up for a match, or are often not available (Obviously if you are working, or on holiday we understand that) (BUT LET US KNOW!) |
